Q. What causes split ends in the hair?
A. Combing, brushing, braiding, weaving, twisting, all can contribute to hair damage and split ends. When hair is not trimmed regularly, the ends of the hair will become weak, dry and split. It is best have the ends trimmed every 4 to 6 weeks. Deep conditioning after every shampoo and a daily leave-in treatment work to help repair damage and split ends.

A. Creme of Nature Nourishing permanent hair color will change the color of the hair permanently. New growth can be colored about every 6-8 weeks. And certain shampoos may dull or strip the color from the hair. The color that has been stripped can be refreshed with new color at the same time as covering the new growth every 6-8 weeks.
Q. How often can I use Creme of Nature Nourishing Permanent Hair Color?
A. Colors can be used about every 6-8 weeks, but must not be used on the same day as a chemical relaxer. We recommend 2 weeks lapse between the use of a relaxer and the use of permanent hair color to avoid damaging the hair.

A. There are 3 types of hair color 1) Temporary (sometimes called a rinse) 2) Semi-permanent and 3) permanent hair color. Creme of Nature Colors is permanent hair color.
Q. How do I know what strength of relaxer to use, regular or super?
A. The amount of the movement in the hair is described as the “type” of hair, straight, wavy or curly. It’s important to understand your individual hair curl pattern, in its natural state (non-relaxed). Knowing your natural curl pattern will help you choose the correct hair products like the strength of relaxer kit.
Q. Can I relax and color my hair on the same day?
A. As with any relaxer system you must be extremely careful when performing two processes on the same day. We do not recommend that you relax and use any permanent hair color on the same day. You should wait two weeks between your relaxer and color service in order to ensure the safety and integrity of your hair. Using semi-permanent color or rinses on the same day is fine.
Q. How long should I wait between relaxers?
A. To avoid over processing the hair we recommend waiting 6 weeks between relaxer applications. You should never apply relaxer Creme to previously relaxed hair. Apply only to new growth hair.
